The Sunborn Gibraltar, a super yacht owned by Finnish hotel company Sunborn, will officially launch a casino on board on May 16. Casino operator Paf, which is state-owned by the Finnish Aland Islands have partnered with Sunborn for the project. The most exclusive casino experience for the region has been promised to guests, who are eagerly awaiting a chance to place their bets.
Casino Sunborn, as it will be called, will feature the latest slot machines, five roulette tables, and five card tables which will spread blackjack, punto banco, and a unique Sunborn Stud Poker. If a player wishes to have a little more privacy, a VIP private gaming suite is also available with high-end amenities. A large balcony and terrace are part of the suite as well.
Paf was founded in 1966 on Aland. The international company employs nearly 400, and has offices in Mariehamn, Helsinki, Stockhold, Talinn, Madrid and Milano. The eGaming Review recently named Paf the most socially responsible operator online. Their operation contains 1,300 slot machines and 40 gaming tables on 25 ships. The casino opening will create up to 75 new jobs for the local community in Gibraltar and Spain.
