Gladstone Named Ainsworth Chairman

Danny Gladstone, who recently stepped down as CEO of slot manufacturer Ainsworth Game Technology, has been named chairman of the company, replacing Graeme Campbell who will become lead independent director.

Gladstone Named Ainsworth Chairman

Danny Gladstone was brought into Ainsworth Game Technology by founder Len Ainsworth and learned the company from the ground up. He rose through the company and eventually became CEO until he stepped down last June.

Last week, AGT announced that Gladstone would take over as chairman of the board, replacing Graeme Campbell, who will become lead independent director.

AGT CEO Lawrence Levy said, “We are pleased to welcome Danny to his new position as Chairman of Ainsworth Game Technology following the AGM.

“This appointment provides us with a greater ability to utilize Danny’s vast industry experience and strong customer relationships. I look forward to working closely with him to drive future growth and profitability.

“We are also re-instating the role of lead independent director. This recognizes the importance of governance and independence in ensuring the board operates effectively.

“Graeme will provide leadership to the independent directors and advise the board on matters where there may be an actual or perceived conflict of interest. We appreciate Graeme’s much-valued contribution to Ainsworth and we look forward to working with him in this role.”
