Leading gaming testing company Gaming Laboratories International is expanding its market for World Lottery Association Security Control Standard (WLA-SCS) and ISO 27001 Information Security Management Certification audit services to Europe and Africa.
GLI’s Professional Services Division has successfully completed a WLA-SCS Certification audit for its first African lottery client, the Loterie Nationale Sénégalaise (LONASE), and is continuing to grow its client base in Africa as well as in Europe.
“We were very pleased Loterie Nationale Sénégalaise chose GLI and our Professional Services Division to conduct their WLA Security Control Standard audit,” said Thomas Bierbach, director of GLI’s Lottery & Gaming Practice. “Since GLI’s creation of its Professional Services Division in 2011, we have grown to a global team consisting of the industry’s foremost leading experts, and lottery clients around the world can rely on GLI, confident that their projects are carried out by the industry’s best.”
The WLA Security Control Standard is the lottery sector’s only internationally recognized security standard. The WLA-SCS combines a leading international standard for information security, ISO 27001, with current best practices in lottery security. WLA accredited Security Control Standard auditors at GLI’s Professional Services Division conduct certification audits for lotteries worldwide.
GLI’s Professional Services Division has four practice areas of services, each specifically designed to make doing business in the lottery industry faster and more effective: Software Quality Assurance & Testing; Core Systems Modernization; Governance/Risk/Compliance; and Lottery & Gaming Practice, which includes the WLA-SCS and WLA Responsible Gaming Framework services.
