Leading gaming testing company Gaming Laboratories International announced that it has entered into an agreement with the National Indian Gaming Association that identifies GLI as the exclusive training provider for NIGA’s Level III Commissioner Training program.
The training will focus specifically on GLI’s four-part auditing curriculum, specifically Accounting System Audit, Gaming Floor Audit, Electronic Promotional Programs and Bingo System Audits. The training will be a free value-add service for all NIGA members.
“Training is a crucial part of operations and helps protect revenues and ensure compliance—two areas that are mission-critical to NIGA members,” said NIGA Chairman Ernie L. Stevens, Jr. “GLI has shown great dedication to the Indian gaming industry through their training programs. What we will have now is an outstanding training series that we can offer to our members with confidence.”
GLI National Director of Tribal Development Russell Witt added, “For almost every day of our 25-year history, GLI has had the great fortune of working closely with tribes across North America, and today we work with more than 250 tribes. We are honored to have been chosen to present our hands-on training to the full NIGA membership, and we are confident the series will be meaningful, informative and will help position tribes for even greater operational strength and stability.”
The series includes four courses:
• GLI’s Accounting System Audit is a comprehensive training program focused on several points, including online accounting systems, communication testing, SMIB diagnostics and progressive and bonus system verification.
• Gaming Floor Audit training teaches gaming floor audit processes, key and RAM chip verification, software verification and other crucial floor audit information.
• The Auditing Electronic Promotional Programs training course goes in-depth on player tracking and bonusing, promotional fund types and coupons, pre-activation test procedures and more.
• The Bingo System Audit course examines the multiple interconnected components that comprise a bingo system, ticketing and vouchers, internal controls and NIGC guidelines and other topics.
