GLI Names Pozo Villar To Latin America Team

Gerardo Pozo Villar has been named Latin America government relations and business development representative at Gaming Laboratories International. Based in Mexico City, Pozo Villar is experienced in coordinating certification activities and has specialized in test methods and techniques to determine the integrity of slot machines and systems

Lakewood, New Jersey-based Gaming Laboratories International announced Gerardo Pozo Villar has been hired as Latin America government relations and business development representative. Pozo Villar will be based in Mexico City to provide personalized service to GLI’s increasing client base in the Latin American region.

Prior to joining GLI, Pozo Villar worked at NYCE in Mexico as a quality process auditor for software development companies. He served on standardization committees to develop Mexican standards related to software and gaming device testing. Pozo Villar began his career with Electronica Clarion, S.A. de C.V. as head of design and development in Mexico. He moved up to project leader in Argentina, where he coordinated and provided technical supervision for electric materials production. Later he was named manager of new products.

A graduate of National Polytechnic Institute with degrees in communications and electronic engineering, Pozo Villar is experienced in coordinating certification activities, including analyzing laboratory reports and planning on-site inspections for casinos in Mexico. He has specialized in test methods and techniques to determine the integrity of slot machines and systems in the United States.
