GLI Subsidiary Names Johnston CEO

Bulletproof, a Canada-based cybersecurity, IT and quality assurance company, has named Chris Johnston as its new CEO. Johnston, who has worked for the company for 10 years, replaces Steven Burns, who will become board chairman.

Canada-based Bulletproof, a subsidiary of Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) has named Chris Johnston as its new chief executive.

According to a press release, Johnston was “integral in driving Bulletproof growth while leading the company’s sales organization.”

The longtime CEO and co-founder of the company, Steven Burns, will become chairman of the board. He said, “Chris has been involved in our company for some 10 years and has a great handle on who we are and, most importantly, who we can be.”

GLI group CEO and President James Maida added, “I’m very happy that we have been able to secure Chris Johnston in the role of CEO. Chris has been instrumental in the growth of Bulletproof over the past few years and has a deep knowledge of the company and its capabilities.”

The company was founded in 2000. It has about 200 employees, and its revenues have doubled in the past three years.
