Global Bet has announced that the Autonomous Administration of the State Monopolies (AAMS), the Italian gaming authority, has approved its Virtual Sports betting platform for use in the country.
Global Bet will now partner iGaming services provider Microgame to launch the platform in the regulated Italian gaming market.
Following the launch, more than 200 other companies operating ‘.it’ websites in the country will be able to take advantage of the virtual sports platform in compliance with Italian law and regulations.
“The approval and certification is a milestone for Global Bet in our goal to become the global premium supplier for virtual sports,” said Daniel Grabher, managing director of Global Bet. “The Global Bet Virtual Sports platform is designed and available for all channels: land-based, online or mobile. The technologies we are using allow the development and adding of new sports events and games within the shortest time possible.
“Microgame is a leading pioneer in Italy’s online gaming industry and operates a perfect platform to introduce our virtual sports products to the Italian gaming community.”
