GLOBAL GAMING BUSINESS PODCAST: Aaron Gomes, Chief Operating Officer, Peninsula Pacific Entertainment

Virginia is one of the last states to consider casino gaming. While no decision has been made, a legislative study has been mandated. In the meantime, however Peninsula Pacific Entertainment bought the state’s only racetrack, Colonial Downs, and the rights that came with it. Aaron Gomes has been running the operations in Virginia where Colonial Downs was recently approved to offer historic horse racing machines (HHRs). Gomes explains how Peninsula Pacific has established several “Rosie’s Gaming Emporiums” throughout the state with plans for more. He spoke with GGB Publisher Roger Gros at Colonial Downs racetrack outside of Richmond in August.
