Alan Feldman, the chairman of the NCRG and also a senior vice president of public affairs for MGM Resorts, explains why it is so important to the industry, the early days of research and the groundbreaking treatment programs the NCRG is spearheading to assist people who suffer from the disease. He also discusses the people who made a difference and why the independence of the organization is so crucial.
