GLOBAL GAMING BUSINESS PODCAST: Derek Stevens, CEO, Circa Resort & Casino

Some consider Derek Stevens to be a visionary in the gaming industry. And if you look at his new hotel, Circa Resort & Casino in Downtown Las Vegas, you might agree. Stevens breaks the mold of the casino resort by making the pools area the centerpiece of the property and elevating the sportsbook to a major amenity. But it’s more than just the physical property for Stevens. He’s a leading developer and operator with new and innovative marketing ideas, and a true appreciation that gaming is all about people, employees and customers alike. Stevens spoke with GGB Publisher Roger Gros from his offices at the D Casino Hotel in Downtown in October, just weeks before the debut of Circa.
