GLOBAL GAMING BUSINESS PODCAST: Dermot Smurfit, CEO, GAN

The race is on to get U.S. gaming companies online for both sports betting and iGaming. GAN, however, had a head start. Dermot Smurfit took a successful European gaming provider to the U.S. nearly 10 years ago and concentrated on the newly discovered phenomenon of social casino. Now many of GAN’s clients have joined real money online gaming without missing a beat. And the recent purchase of CoolBet will give GAN clients cutting-edge technology when attracting and retaining new customers. Smurfit joined GGB Publisher Roger Gros via Zoom from his Prius in Miami in July.
