Last week’s debut of the High Roller observation wheel at the Linq on the Las Vegas Strip capped off a year of excitement for Eileen Moore, who was brought in from Indiana to take charge of the Flamingo, the Quad, the Cromwell and the Linq. The Linq is designed to make the east side of the Strip a destination by creating a must-see attraction that will increase traffic at all those properties. When the Cromwell, Caesars’ boutique hotel, opens next month, the concept will be complete and Moore will focus on operations rather than development. She explains what the strategy is and why she believes that the increased visitation will mean much more bottom line dollars. She spoke with GGB Publisher Roger Gros at her offices in the Flamingo in March for a feature article in the April issue of GGB.
