This week, the GGB Podcast features Jon Gray, the vice president and general manager of the Linq, Caesars new shopping, dining and entertainment mall connecting several casino properties on the east side of the Las Vegas Strip, as the High Roller observation wheel starts spinning.
The Linq is Caesars Entertainment’s effort to redefine the Las Vegas Strip. Located across from Caesars Palace and sitting between the Quad, the Flamingo and the new Cromwell, the Linq’s centerpiece is the High Roller, the world’s largest observation wheel, which launches this week. Jon Gray has ushered the important project from the start, and envisions a lively experience that goes way beyond its dining, shopping and entertainment amenities. Gray believes that the Linq will change the Las Vegas skyline with the High Roller and become a must-see attraction for every Las Vegas visitor. And when you count on the group and special events that Caesars plans at the Linq, as well as the increased business in the surrounding casinos, Gray says the company’s 0 million investment should be an inexpensive fix for the east side question. He spoke with GGB Publisher Roger Gros in early March as the first phase of the Linq was opening.
