For someone who has yet to turn 40 years old, Julia Boguslawski has accomplished much. Transitioning from an investor relations executive with a lodging company to the IR director for SHFL entertainment, she helped navigate the merger of SHFL and Bally Technologies. Another transition from IR to marketing, Boguslawski now directs the relationships that Bally has with its customers. She explains the similarities of the two missions, and how her knowledge of the investment community helps her to value the customer relationships. But she couldn’t do it without a professional staff, who she credits for making the job easier for her. She also explains how she is approaching the upcoming merger with Scientific Games. She spoke with GGB Publisher Roger Gros at her office in Las Vegas in October about her inclusion in GGB’s 40 Under 40 feature in the November issue of the magazine.
