GLOBAL GAMING BUSINESS PODCAST: Keith Whyte, Executive Director, National Council on Problem Gambling

This week, the GGB Podcast features a discussion with Keith Whyte, the executive director of the National Council on Problem Gambling on the start of March, the official Problem Gambling Awareness Month.

The National Council on Problem Gambling is an important organization in the gaming industry’s efforts to promote responsible gaming. The NCPG was formed in 1972 as a neutral organization designed to collaborate with a broad range of people and organizations to alleviate the ravages of problem gambling. Keith Whyte has been executive director since 1998 and has guided the organization to become one of the key players in responsible gaming. With a stellar board of directors and advisors, the NCPG designates the month of March as Problem Gambling Awareness Month with a variety of programs to focus on the issue. Whyte spoke with GGB Publisher Roger Gros via Zoom from the NCPG offices in Washington D.C. in late February.
