Knute Knudson is one of the most respected members of the gaming technology community. His experience in Indian Country is second to none, starting with the equipment supplier Sodak, and continuing when that company was purchased by IGT. Now as vice president of global business development, Knudson represents the company in many arenas, but none more important than Indian gaming. At May’s NIGA trade show, IGT displayed many new and unique Class II games that were the hits of the show. Knudson explains why Class II is making such a big comeback in Indian Country, how IGT has retooled the games, and why he believes the growth of his sector is just beginning.
