After more than five years working on perfecting a generation of shufflers, Lou DeGregorio arrived at G2E in October ready to give his product the official debut. The Shark Trap shuffler improves game security, reduces card costs and increases efficiency. The shufflers also have to ability to provide casino executives with a vast array of data on players and dealers. Developed in conjunction with the engineering department at UNLV, DeGregorio says the initial response to his device has been outstanding. DeGregorio and his son Dino spoke with GGB Publisher Roger Gros at G2E in October.
