For a global slot manufacturer, Asia represents the holy grail. Although the growth of slots in Macau has been somewhat disappointing, the other regions in that part of the world are ripe for explosive gaming expansion. Mark Michalko, the Asian director of sales for IGT, used the recent G2E Asia to debut several new themed games for his customers in the region. He sat down with GGB Publisher Roger Gros in the company’s stand at the trade show to discuss the new games, prospects in each of the jurisdictions and other products that are becoming popular in the region.
