The importance of G2E to the gaming industry has never been more crucial than in 2014. With the supply side in flux because of many mergers and acquisitions, 2014 may be the last time that such a wide diversity of products and services are on display. Shepherding the show through this change is Mike Johnson, a longtime Reed executive who was put in charge just before last year’s G2E. This edition of the show has Johnson’s unmistakable influence all over it. With an expanded exhibit floor and a dramatically different seminar track, this year’s G2E promises to meet and exceed all expectations of attendees and exhibitors. Johnson spoke last week with GGB Publisher Roger Gros from his offices in Connecticut.
