GLOBAL GAMING BUSINESS PODCAST: Ray Pineault, President and General Manager, Mohegan Sun

Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun is one of the great casino resorts in the U.S. In fact, it was recently named the top casino in the USAToday poll. Ray Pineault has been running the property now since 2015 and before that was the chief operating officer for three years. Pineault talks about the recent development phases of the hotel that has added more rooms, more meetings and convention space, new restaurants and added retail attractions. These non-gaming amenities have been added over the past several years as a result of looming competition in Massachusetts that is now up and running. He describes the early impact of the competition and how Mohegan Sun has responded. He spoke with GGB Publisher Roger Gros at the recently completed G2E trade show in Las Vegas in October.
