GLOBAL GAMING BUSINESS PODCAST: Rob Oseland, President, SLS Las Vegas

This week, the GGB Podcast sits down with Rob Oseland, the president of SLS Las Vegas, just weeks after the opening of the new property on the North Strip.

SLS Las Vegas is the newest casino to open on the Strip—the North Strip, that is, an area that hasn’t seen a lot of development for quite some time. SLS is a brand owned by sbe Entertainment, the developer of restaurants, nightclubs and hotels in Los Angeles, Miami and other city. It’s the first gaming venture for the company. Rob Oseland is a former Wynn executive tapped to lead this new property, and brings his 20 years of high-end gaming experience to SLS. He explains what the hotel’s target markets are going to be and what makes the property different from others on the Strip. He also explains why the North Strip will soon become one of the busiest areas in Las Vegas and how SLS will benefit. He spoke with GGB Publisher Roger Gros at the Sayer’s Nightclub at SLS in September for the November cover story of the magazine.
