Although IGT has been the dominant slot manufacturer in the U.S. for 20 years, the penetration into the international market has never reached that level. Sabby Gill is responsible for that penetration as senior vice president of international sales. Prior to joining IGT more than two years ago, Gill held sales positions at several IT firms, including HP, Oracle and PeopleSoft. In his role at IGT, he is responsible for not only slots but VLTs, online gaming, systems and more. IGT’s core business of producing the best games in the world and ensuring they are made available in whatever channel possible is one of Gill’s passions. He met with GGB Publisher Roger Gros at the ICE Totally Gaming trade show last month in London.
