GLOBAL GAMING BUSINESS PODCAST: Sara Slane, Founder, Slane Advisory

GLOBAL GAMING BUSINESS PODCAST: Sara Slane, Founder, Slane Advisory

While credit goes to New Jersey politicians Ray Lesniak and Chris Christie for pushing the landmark Supreme Court decision that overturned the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA), some of that credit must go to Sara Slane, the then-vice president at the American Gaming Association, who led the organization’s efforts to support the lawsuit. She was effective and convincing in her arguments and in the end, was successful. Now running her own consultancy for organizations wanting to get sports betting legalized in certain jurisdictions or get into the business, Slane had extended her success. She spoke with GGB Publisher Roger Gros from her home in June.
