The recent purchase of IGT by GTECH was completed only a few months ago. Former GTECH executive Walter Bugno was elevated to CEO of the company’s international division, putting him in charge of the company’s growth outside of North America. Bugno has long experience in this market and explains how IGT will compete. He describes how the synergies created by the GTECH buy have made IGT one of the strongest suppliers around the world. He spoke with GGB Publisher Roger Gros at G2E Asia in Macau in May.
