The soon-to-open Point Place Casino, operated by the Oneida Indian Nation in New York, will be run by Jerry Marrello. He was named general manager last week.

Jerry Marrello has been named as general manager of the Point Place Casino by the Oneida Indian Nation, which will open the casino on March 1 in Sullivan, Madison County, New York.

Marrello is a 13-year veteran of the Oneida Nation’s Turning Stone Casino Resort. For the last five years he has been a member of the senior leadership team as director of nightlife and beverage operations.

Nation Enterprises CEO Ray Halbritter said, “We are confident that Jerry will bring to Point Place Casino his same commitment to providing superior guest experiences that he has demonstrated in his time with Turning Stone.” He added, “As a Central New Yorker and seasoned hospitality professional, Jerry brings a unique skill set, powerful drive and contagious energy to this position that will ensure great success at Point Place Casino.”

The casino will have 500 slots and 20 gaming tables. It will have two fast-casual restaurants, one serving hamburgers and the other pizzas.
