Nevada’s largest tavern and slot machine route operator has promoted three executives overseeing its key markets in the state.

Steve Arcana, chief operating officer of Nasdaq-listed Golden Entertainment, said Jimmy Wadhams is taking over Southern Nevada Route Operations with the title of vice president; Danny Wadhams is moving up to vice president of Northern Nevada Route Operations; and Brent Edlund has been named vice president of tavern operations.

Jimmy Wadhams began his career with Golden Entertainment in 2007 and has held several sales and management roles for the company. Danny Wadhams previously managed the sales team for the Southern Nevada route before transferring to Reno, Nev., in a similar role in 2015. He joined Golden in 2010. Edlund, who has held management positions in food and beverage with Station Casinos, the Silverton, the Rio, Excalibur and several national restaurant operators, joined the company last May.

Golden Entertainment’s slot routes extend to nearly 1,000 locations and 10,000 machine games. The company’s 54 taverns are the most of any such wholly owned portfolio in the state.
