Golden Taps Parmelee to Run F&B

Golden Entertainment has brought back Todd Parmelee to head food and beverage operations for its rapidly expanding gaming portfolio. In addition to nearly 60 PT’s taverns and casinos in Southern Nevada and Maryland, he will oversee F&B at the four casinos Golden is buying in the American Casinos & Entertainment deal.

Las Vegas-based Golden Entertainment has named gaming industry veteran and former PT’s executive Todd Parmelee to head its food and beverage operations.

His responsibilities as vice president of F&B will include oversight of the nearly 60 Nevada taverns operated under the company’s PT’s brand and the restaurants at Golden’s Pahrump, Nev., casinos and its Rocky Gap Casino Resort in Maryland.

And his duties will expand when Golden closes later this year on the purchase of American Casinos & Entertainment, owner of four Southern Nevada casinos, including the Stratosphere in Las Vegas.

Parmelee most recently was vice president of food and beverage for Benchmark, a Texas-based company that operates 60 hotels and resorts. He previously served as regional director of operations for the Cordish Companies’ “Live!” entertainment operations in St. Louis and Kansas City. He also spent three years as beverage director at Hard Rock Las Vegas and was vice president of tavern operations for PT’s from 2007-13.

“It’s a pleasure to welcome Todd Parmelee back to the Golden family,” said COO Steve Arcana.
