Goodbye Yellow Brick Road—and Hello

Goodbye Yellow Brick Road—and Hello

New York’s Oneida Indian Nation has named industry veteran Lynn Segars general manager of the tribe’s Yellow Brick Road Casino in Chittenango.

Segars succeeds Dan Jones, who has led the operation since its 2015 debut and is leaving to become director of guest experience, a newly created position that will involve him in all three Oneida casinos.

The moves come amid a round of fresh investment in the property, which includes a redesign of the casino floor and the recent addition of a sportsbook, the Lounge with Caesars Sports.

Segars brings some 30 years of experience to the position, including 10 years at Mohegan Sun Pocono in northern Pennsylvania and stints with Harrah’s. Prior to joining Yellow Brick Road, she was vice president of slot operations at MGM Springfield in Massachusetts, which she helped open last year.

“Lynn’s experience and proven track record in the gaming industry will be an incredible asset to us as we continue to evolve and redefine the guest experience at Yellow Brick Road,” said Oneida Nation Enterprises CEO Ray Halbritter.
