Grand Casino Baden, a Swiss casino operator, has completed an extensive technology transition by adopting DR Gaming Technology’s (DRGT) integrated casino management system, integrating all gaming operations into a single cashless platform.

This upgrade consolidates slot machines, table games, cage operations and player registration into one unified system, enhancing both operations and player engagement.

Key takeaways:

  • Grand Casino Baden transitions all gaming operations to DRGT’s integrated system
  • System consolidates slot, table, cage and player registration into one platform
  • The upgrade supports the casino’s broader online and innovation strategy

Unified Gaming Floor with Integrated Casino Management System

The deployment covers all 322 slot machines across the casino’s gaming floor, each equipped with DRGT’s 8.8-inch drScreenUltra player interface. Moreover, DRGT’s live tables platform, which centralizes game control within the integrated casino management system, is used to manage the venue’s 13 table games, which include American roulette, poker and blackjack.

Christian Aumüller, CEO of Grand Casino Baden, highlighted the focus on operational efficiency and customer experience, describing these aspects as essential for the casino’s status as a key regional entertainment provider.

Andreas Duller, managing director at DRGT Austria, noted the installation demonstrates a fully integrated, content-driven gaming floor that improves operational oversight and player engagement through DRGT’s modular product suite.

Strengthening Land-Based and Digital Integration

This technology transition forms part of Grand Casino Baden’s broader strategy to enhance competitiveness across physical and digital gaming markets. The casino has also expanded its online offerings through partnerships with content providers such as Push Gaming and Stakelogic, enriching its platform with diverse games. These collaborations support the casino’s position within Switzerland’s regulated iGaming market, characterized by a framework that encourages innovation and growth.

Swiss regulators continue to develop a robust environment that facilitates the growth of integrated casino operations, reinforcing Grand Casino Baden’s role in both land-based and online gaming sectors.
