Gala Interactive, a division of Gala Coral online, has promoted Gavin Grimes to the role of head of casino. Grimes joined the company in April 2013 as the head of social gaming.
According to a statement from the company, Grimes is a specialist in online gaming. Prior to joining Gala Interactive, he spent six years as managing director of online advertising and marketing agency McBoom.
In addition to other marketing roles at Cantor Index, Kerb and Sportingbet, he also worked for Betdaq, Betoddoreven and Easy Group in a freelance consultancy role.
Gala Interactive, based in Gibraltar, offers online bingo, slots and iPoker. It is one of the top three gaming firms in the U.K., according to the company.
