A groundbreaking ceremony was held for the Comanche Nation new casino in Cache, Oklahoma. The 17,000-square-foot facility will offer 250 gaming machines, a restaurant and convenience store, and create 50 jobs.

Groundbreaking Held For Oklahoma Tribal Casino

Ground recently was broken for Comanche Nation Entertainment’s Comanche Cache Casino in Cache, Oklahoma. The 17,000-square-foot venue is located at the former Country Corner gas station and convenient store and will offer 250 gaming machines, a restaurant, veranda and new convenience store and gas station. The new property is expected to create 50 jobs.

Comanche Nation Entertainment Chief Executive Officer Mia Tahdooahnippah said, “Our mission with all of our properties is to provide a fun and exciting experience for our guests, a safe and rewarding environment for our team members and prosperity for the Comanche Nation. Comanche Cache Casino has been years in the making, and is a new opportunity for prosperity and success that will benefit our children and our people for generations to come.”

The property’s design will highlight the revered Comanche leader, Quanah Parker. Tahdooahnippah said, “We will incorporate our tribe’s rich history into this property and showcase it inside and outdoors with a mural on the building and outdoor veranda named after Quanah Parker, an important and innovative leader of our tribe.”

The groundbreaking celebration also included a tribal blessing and performances by Comanche dancers, drummers and singers.
