The Gaming Technologies Association (GTA), which represents Australia’s gaming suppliers, has named Anthony Ball and Cameron Louis as its new chairman and vice chairman, respectively.

Ball currently serves as general manager of government and industry relations for the Asia Pacific, Australia and New Zealand division of Aristocrat Leisure Ltd. He will succeed Adrian Halpenny, who headed the GTA for nearly ten years.

Louis currently serves as managing director of Aruze Gaming Australia Pty Ltd.

Ball said in a press release that “Our association has a well thought out plan for how it can contribute to the long-term wellbeing of gaming technology and supplier companies, venues and all that have a stake in our industry.”

He also added that he and Louis would “work energetically to deliver our agenda, which includes increasing stakeholder understanding of our industry, supporting efficient, balanced and effective rules and regulation.”
