Starting this month, Macau-based junket investor Guangdong Group will provide VIP services to players at Naga 2, the newest casino at NagaWorld in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Naga 2 features 10 gaming tables.
Guangdong now operates 13 VIP gaming clubs in Macau and has seen “rapid expansion” overseas, CEO Flora Pu told GGRAsia.
“The group’s services have been expanded to Philippines, Jeju, Cambodia, U.S., U.K. and other destinations in the Asia-Pacific region and Europe,” Pu wrote in an email to the news outlet. “We will continue to actively explore further potential partnerships with casino operators and collaborators in a bid to enhance the proportion of earnings from overseas markets for the group.”
The property is promoted by Hong Kong-listed NagaCorp Ltd., which holds the only license to operate casinos in the vicinity around Phnom Penh. Macau junket operator Suncity Group also operates VIP facilities at Naga 2.
