Michigan’s Gun Lake Casino last week appointed Skye Skinner as its director of human resources. Skinner was promoted from her previous position as HR manager.

Gun Lake Casino Names New Director of Human Resources

Gun Lake Casino announced the appointment of Skye Skinner as its new director of human resources.

“Skye has been an incredible asset to our entire team as human resources manager,” commented Sal Semola, president and chief operating officer for Gun Lake Casino. “We are excited to promote from within and welcome Skye into this new role. We look forward to her continued contributions to the property as director of human resources.”

Skinner brings nine years of human resources experience throughout west Michigan, most recently serving as Gun Lake Casino’s human resources manager. Skinner began her human resources career at GA Richards of Grand Rapids, where she began as a human resources generalist and worked her way up to human resources director. She then worked as the human resources manager for Kreis, Enderle, Hudgins & Borsos. P.C. before joining Gun Lake Casino’s team.

Skinner earned an associate’s degree in paralegal studies from Kellogg Community College and a bachelor’s degree in human resources management from Western Michigan University. She is PHR Certified, and is a member of the Kalamazoo HR Management Association, American Legal Association, and the Employers Association.

Skinner has immediately assumed full responsibility of her role.
