Halkyard Named Director at MGM China

Jonathan Halkyard (l.), who became CFO of MGM Resorts International in January, has been appointed a non-executive director of MGM China Holdings Ltd. He replaces James Freeman on the MGM China board.

Halkyard Named Director at MGM China

Jonathan Halkyard, chief financial officer of MGM Resorts International, has been named a non-executive director of the group’s majority-owned Macau unit, MGM China Holdings Ltd.

Halkyard replaced James Freeman, who his board position last month. He also became a member of MGM China’s audit committee effective June 29.

Prior to joining MGM Resorts, Halkyard was with Caesars Entertainment from 2005 to 2012, in various senior operational and corporate posts, according to GGRAsia.
