Hall Out, Cousineau In on DEQ Board

DEQ Systems Corporation announced that former CEO Earle G. Hall has resigned from the company’s board of directors, and that former Loto-Quebec President Alain Cousineau has been named a director.

Canada’s DEQ Systems Corporation announced that has accepted the resignation of former CEO Earle G. Hall from its board of directors, effective immediately, and that the company has added former Loto Quebec President Alain Cousineau to the board.

Cousineau currently serves as chairman of the Canada Media Fund. and formerly held positions as president and CEO of Loto-Quebec and Groupe Secor. Prior to that he had a distinguished career in the academic field, primarily at Sherbooke University where he was dean of the business school.

He has also held board positions in a diverse range of industries and has extensive consulting experience in marketing and corporate strategic planning.

Cousineau will also serve as a member of the Compensation and Compliance committees of the DEQ board. “I am extremely honored about the opportunity to serve on the Board of DEQ, and I look forward to being a part of DEQ’s continued growth and success,” he said.

The board is now composed of the following four members, including three independent members, David D. Ross, Jon L. Whipple and Alain Cousineau; and one non-independent member, Joseph E. Bertolone.
