Hann to Build First PGA Golf Destination in Philippines

Hann Philippines Inc. has announced ambitious projects, most of it revolving around PG- affiliated golf courses. Owner and operator of Hann Casino Resort in the Clark Freeport Zone, the new resort will be home to the Philippines’ first PGA course.

Hann Holdings Inc signed a deal with PGA of America for three 18-hole courses on the Hann Reserve, which will also feature branded hotels and resorts, a mixed-use commercial center, premium villas and residences, and a public park among other amenities, according to Inside Asian Gaming.

Nicklaus Design will develop the initial course while the second will be done by South Korea pro KJ Choi—the third will come from Nick Faldo.

Hann signed South Korea’s POSCO Engineering and Construction Co Ltd to oversee the Hann Reserve project and Hann Lux, which will be located near the existing Hann Casino Resort. Hann Luxe will also include Sofitel Clark and Emblems Clark, plus a casino, high-end fashion stores, French-inspired cafes, convention facilities, residences and commercial areas.

“We have first given you the ultimate millionaire’s playground at Hann Casino Resort and we won’t stop there,” said Hann Philippines Chairman and CEO, Daesik Han. “This time our goal is to cater to both local and foreign golfers and enthusiasts by providing them a world-class venue that can be expected of the PGA brand.”
