Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi recently was named Best Hotel in Mississippi in the 29th annual Condé Nast Readers’ Choice Awards survey. A record 300,000 people participated in the survey that selects the top U.S. hotels and resorts every year. Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi General Manager Todd Raziano said, “Mississippi is home to so many high quality hotel resorts and to be awarded the title of best-of-the-best on the Gulf Coast, never mind throughout the entire state of Mississippi, just reiterates we provide a hospitality experience like no other here at Hard Rock.”
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in downtown Biloxi celebrated its 10th anniversary this year. It had to be rebuilt after it was damaged by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, just days away from opening. Director of Hotel Operations Shaun Catchot said with 479 hotel rooms and suites, Hard Rock Biloxi “is small enough to give personalized service while providing guests with a casino and resort amenities such as a lively pool scene, nightlife, headline concerts and dining options.”
The property received a 2017 Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor and its Hard Rock Live won a Biloxi Sun Herald People’s Choice Award for Favorite Live Music Venue.
Meanwhile, construction will begin soon on the Mississippi Gulf Coast’s newest casino. The $75 million smoke-free casino addition adjacent to the Beach Tower at Island View Casino in Gulfport is scheduled to open next summer, with a show bar, restaurant and a wall of windows overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.
