Hard Rock Hotels is making major investments in its four Florida properties: the Seminole Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos in Tampa and Hollywood, the new Hard Rock Hotel in Daytona Beach and the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort.
The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa opened the Rez Grill in February, renovated its guest rooms and added a new smoke-free gaming floor. The new 15-story hotel tower will add 564 guestrooms for a total of 800, plus a branded Rock Spa & Salon with the exclusive Rhythm & Motion spa treatment menu. The hotel also will offer a top-floor VIP gaming area with a dedicated elevator for access to Rock Star Suites; an expanded pool deck with three pools; and an outdoor restaurant and bar. Completion of all the projects is scheduled for mid-2019.
At the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, the spectacular guitar-shaped tower is taking shape, set to open in mid-2019. It will offer a casino with more than 3,000 slot machines and 18,000 square foot poker room, twice the size of the current casino. The tower’s hotel will feature 806 guestrooms. The property also will offer 60,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, a new 7,000-seat Hard Rock Live venue, a 41,000 square foot spa and meeting and convention areas.
The 10-acre pool complex will feature the “Bora Bora Experience,” with private villas set above the pools with private pools and butler service. Multilevel waterfalls will be built in to the complex and guests will be able to canoe to the beach club.
The Hard Rock Hotel Universal Orlando features Future Rock Star suites with a stage with liquid flooring and lights, ceilings that look like starlit skies and a Hard Rock first–memorabilia from contemporary superstars inside the rooms. The complimentary music program, Sound of Your Stay, brings Fender guitars or a Crosley record player to the guestroom for an ultimate jam session. A water taxi ride from the CityWalk area takes guests to Voodoo Donut and both theme parks.
A grand opening party and ceremonial Guitar Smash were held May 1 at Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach. It offers a 200-room hotel with all the amenities of a full-service Hard Rock Resort, including the Sound of Your Stay program, Rock Spa and Salon, Rock Shop and Body Rock Fitness Center. The property also features an open-air Wave Terrace and the signature Sessions restaurant.
