Hard Rock Hires Miami Graffiti Artists

Urban graffiti artists from the famed Wynwood Art District of Miami have been hired to paint murals at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The first piece, by Patrice "Smog-1" Moretti is located on main garage's second-floor, reserved for premium members of the casino's loyalty program.

The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida has commissioned murals by urban graffiti artists of Miami’s Wynwood Art District through an arrangement with Uninhibited Urban Art magazine.

Patrice “Smog-1” Moretti completed the first piece last month on the second-floor entrance wall of the main garage, reserved for Seminole Hard Rock loyalty program premium members. The mural depicts a stylized hipster holding a guitar in one hand and a pick in the other; an “X” is illustrated on the pick, a reference to the Seminole Wild Card program.

Seminole Hard Rock Vice President of Marketing Jeremy Weinstein said, “The Wynwood vibe is irreverent, fun and unique, which are some of the core pillars of the Hard Rock experience. It is important that the artist have the creative license to create an iconic image rooted in music and rock and roll. But there are no rules when deciding on the amount of space or composition. The idea is to take each opportunity and make it unique.”

Weinstein added similar pieces will be added at other locations throughout the property.
