Harrah’s Cherokee Casino in Cherokee, North Carolina soon will complete a million, multi-level expansion. The first floor, designed to attract families, will feature a 2-level bowling alley with 16 lanes, plus a 55-game arcade, live-music stage and a restaurant. The second floor, designed for those age 21 and over, will offer eight bowling lanes and a bar and restaurant. Opening on September 1, the expansion will create 150 new jobs.

Ultrastar Multi-tainment Center Director of Operations Dan Terry said, “Having that extra space available for kids to be able to go bowling, or the family to go bowling, play in the arcade, eat, that’s really what our goal is, just to bring entertainment to and help drive more people to the casino. You don’t have to be a casino guest to enjoy it.”

Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Regional Vice President of Marketing Leeann Bridges added, “You can bring your children and you can have a great time. We are so happy to be able to open this up to everyone.”
