Harrah’s Philadelphia is launching several additions and enhancements to the property, the most prominent a new gaming and entertainment space dubbed The Block.
The Block will combine a “party pit” of live table games with nightlife attractions including live music, a new bar and a lounge. Concert events will be combined with a state-of-the-art audio-visual system and dramatic lighting, with programs featuring “the hottest deejays and up-and-coming bands” as well as star performances in concerts throughout the year, in the intimate setting of the new facility.
The expansion project also includes the addition of a signature Guy Fieri restaurant—Guy Fieri’s Philly Kitchen & Bar—plus a quick-service food concept and updated retail (including the area’s first Starbucks). The project will be complete by spring of 2017.
