Celebrity Mayor Rob Riggle of Funner, California presided over Harrah’s Resort Southern California’s official launch of the “Impressive Progressive,” a progressive jackpot ranging from $500,000 to $1 million-plus linked across all 50 table games at the property. The progressive jackpot, supplied by Scientific Games, is activated by a $5 side bet on any table.
Prizes are awarded on a digital wheel including slices ranging up to the full $1 million-plus jackpot, regardless of the game.
“As the mayor of Funner, California, it is my job to elevate—and more importantly, make the most memorable—guest experiences,” said Riggle. “A natural innovator in fun, I’m excited to be a part of the opportunity for Funner players to have a better chance to win big at Harrah’s Resort Southern California.”
Funner is the honorary designation for the address of Harrah’s within its Valley Center, California location.
The property has 90-day exclusivity for all San Diego County casinos with Scientific Gaming on this type of progressive play. Harrah’s Resort Southern California will be the first casino in the country to offer this inclusive jackpot and, while never a guarantee, anticipates being able to award life-changing amounts of money throughout the year.
