New room has 50 baccarat tables
Macau VIP promoter the Heng Sheng Group has opened a new high-roller gaming area at Donaco International’s Star Vegas resort in Poipet, Cambodia.
The parties signed a three-year deal, according to GGRAsia. In a filing to the Australian Securities Exchange, Donaco Managing Director and Chief Executive Joey Lim Keong Yew said the grand opening “marks the beginning of our exciting new partnership with the Heng Sheng Group. I am pleased to witness the commencement of the next phase of growth for Donaco, and for the Star Vegas in particular.” Some 400 elite players attended the September 20 launch. The VIP area will have up to 50 baccarat tables.
The deal between Donaco and the Macau junket operator could add up to $29 million in additional gross gaming revenue at Star Vegas, Union Gaming Securities Asia Ltd said in an August note.
