HHR Machines Heading for New Hampshire Casino

The Ocean Gaming Casino in New Hampshire will be the new home for 50 historical horse racing (HHR) terminals.

Although it looks similar to a slot machine, an HHR machine is actually a parimutuel machine that determines the winner by considering races that happened in the past. The names and times of the race are stripped from it so that the player only knows the statistics of the race horses and jockeys. The player bets on the outcome.

International Game Technology, AGS, and IntuiCode will supply the machines, which will be supported on Exacta Systems Connect platform.

Taxes raised will be directed towards education and local charities.

The casino also offers charitable roulette, blackjack, craps, poker and electronic gaming.

Ocean Casino executive Anthony Fusco commented, “Exacta has worked diligently with us and the New Hampshire Lottery to ensure compliant and responsible expansion of charitable gaming.”

Exacta CEO Jeremy Stein added, “Today’s announcement is evidence of our long-term commitment to HHR and the New Hampshire market. By providing customers with our versatile system, Exacta Connect, we are able to offer patrons a diverse portfolio of game content.”
