High Honors for Las Vegas Casinos

The 2016 Forbes Travel Guide bestowed five-star awards for several MGM Resorts International properties, while Las Vegas Sands’ Venetian and Palazzo resort, two Caesars Entertainment properties, and the M Resort earned high ratings. The annual travel guide helps business and luxury travelers determine the best hotels at which to stay based on the quality of rooms and excellence of service and hotel amenities.

Forbes Travel Guide named The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas among its annual list of four-star hotels, making it the 13th and eighth consecutive year The Venetian and The Palazzo have received the prestigious award, respectively.

“Receiving the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star award is a testament to our commitment to providing our guests with an unmatched service experience,” said Venetian-Palazzo President and CEO George Markantonis.

“It’s the hard work from our team members which creates lasting memories to keep our guests coming back time after time.”

The Venetian and The Palazzo contain more than 7,000 suites, luxury retail shops, and more than 80 restaurants, including many by internationally renowned chefs.

Also receiving four-star ratings were Canyon Ranch SpaClub at the Venetian and the Palazzo, Aquaknox at the Venetian, and Wolfgang Puck’s CUT Las Vegas at the Palazzo.

B&B Ristorante and Carnevino, both from Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich, received 2016 Forbes Travel Guide “recommended” ratings.

Forbes Travel Guide also bestowed honors upon several MGM Resorts International properties.

Forbes honored ARIA Sky Suites, SKYLOFTS at MGM Grand, and Joël Robuchon Restaurant at MGM Grand with five-star awards.

To earn five-star ratings, hotels must provide an extraordinary stay and the finest in guest service and amenities, while restaurants must deliver an impeccable dining experience, including food, service, and presentation.

MGM Resorts also earned seven 2016 AAA Five Diamond Awards including Bellagio Resort & Casino, ARIA Resort & Casino, ARIA Sky Suites and SKYLOFTS at MGM Grand.

Forbes Travel Guide bestowed four stars upon The Laurel Collection by Caesars Palace and five stars for Restaurant Guy Savoy. The Cromwell boutique hotel on the Strip earned a “recommended” award.

Also earning four stars is the M Resort, which earned the rating for a seventh straight year.

Fortune magazine also bestowed “World’s Most Admired” honors upon Wynn Resorts, which ranks ahead of all other casino properties on the 2016 list of world’s most admired companies, and MGM Resorts International.
