Horseshoe Baltimore Unveils Gaming Terrace

Horseshoe Casino Baltimore has opened its $15 million, 10,000-square-foot gaming terrace, open to the outdoors. Equipped with overhead heaters, the new space accommodates gamblers who smoke—or who just want to feel outdoor air.

The new space features 174 slot machines, 16 live table games. There are 15 video poker machines at a patio bar.

The space also is being promoted as part of the Southern Gateway Entertainment District, Baltimore’s new Russell Street entertainment attraction which includes properties recently purchased by Horseshoe parent company Caesars Entertainment. The district is a work in progress, with a 4,000-seat concert venue and a Topgolf outlet already open as other attractions—including a local brew pub and a revival of Hammerjacks, the legendary Baltimore rock music venue.
