Caesars Entertainment’s Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana named Julie Vasic as vice president of human resources, overseeing hiring, training, benefits and employee relations. Vasic held similar positions for more than 25 year in hospitality in Chicago.

Horseshoe Indiana Names Vasic to HR Post

The Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana, owned by Caesars Entertainment, recently hired veteran gaming industry professional Julie Vasic as vice president of human resources. Previously Vasic worked in similar roles for more than 25 years at Chicago hospitality, hotel and food and beverage businesses. Vasic will oversee hiring, training, benefits and employee relations.

Horseshoe General Manager Kathryn Jenkins stated, “We are extremely lucky to have someone of Julie’s talent, knowledge and commitment joining the Horseshoe leadership team. We are beyond excited to have her on board, and we can’t wait to see the amazing things she will do.”

Vasic, a resident of Schererville, holds a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from Eastern Michigan University. She received Professional in Human Resources certification in 2010.
