Hotels Return at Marina Bay Sands

Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands has begun reopening its hotel “in stages” to a customer based restricted in the early going mostly to loyalty program members.

The reopening commenced July 17 with a “limited number of rooms in Tower 1 available for public booking,” the resort said, and with some of the amenities affiliated with the hotel, such as the Banyan Tree Spa, included.

Two restaurants at the rooftop SkyPark will reopen August 4.

Marina Bay Sands and crosstown rival Resorts World Sentosa were permitted to resume non-gaming operations on June 19 after a 72-day government-ordered shutdown.

Limited gaming has been permitted since July 1.
