HyperX, Allied Esports Extend Sponsorship of Luxor Arena

HyperX and Allied Esports, an offshoot of Allied Gaming & Entertainment Inc., recently announced that they have renewed the naming and sponsorship rights agreement for the HyperX Arena at the Luxor.

The arena, which has a capacity of 1,000, has become Las Vegas’ esports hub since it opened in 2018, having hosted some 700 events with a total attendance of over 500,000 thus far.

Exact terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it is clear that HyperX will retain naming rights for the venue, with prominent branding throughout. Allied Esports will also continue to partner with HyperX to put on various co-branded tournaments and events.

Daniel Kelley, director of marketing for HyperX, said in a statement to the Las Vegas Review-Journal that the company “is excited to retain the naming rights sponsorship of the HyperX Arena Las Vegas and continue our commitment and dedication to esports and the gaming community. Allied Esports is a key partner for us, with their ability to deliver a best-in-class esports destination in a city that has become nationally known for its esports, sports and entertainment.”

The venue has hosted a number of high-profile events in the esports community, including tournaments for games such as NBA 2K, League of Legends and EA Sports’ NHL series.

HyperX also indicated that it would continue to provide the equipment for the events, such as keyboards, mice and gaming headsets.
